After the last two quarters, where registering for classes was like negotiating a maze of exploding paperwork (full classes! waiting lists! do-I-want-to-take-this-class hockey!), I don't think I can be blamed for hurling myself in front of a computer the exact minute of my first registration appointment. I discovered... I was the first one to register for one of my Bio classes, and the third for the other.

*blink*

I suppose if I really wanted to worry, I could worry about the classes being cancelled due to undersubscription, but I have plenty of things to worry about already. The Stats test is off my radar, yay (I mostly forgot how to compute a one-sided confidence interval, but the rest went fine), but I have Yet Another Damned Ethics Paper due next Tuesday, and a Biochem midterm the day after that (pfeh).

Yesterday I was the emotional yo-yo of doom and whinage. If you didn't talk to me yesterday, count yourself lucky. In the evening, though, I called [livejournal.com profile] mizkit to congratulate her on selling yet MORE books, and I think her giddiness was catching. :-) [livejournal.com profile] elflet additionally made my evening merry and bright (if punctuated by fretting about Stats rather than just, you know, studying them) by turning up my lost Sensa pen, which I had been mourning.

Boring food entry twofer:

Yesterday:
bacon and eggs
yummy baked cabbage. Doesn't constitute a full lunch, so by 2 I was really craving just about anything, and drinking water wasn't cutting it. I went by the Carl's Jr and ordered the Whopping Huge Low-carb burger (a double with bacon and guac) and could feel the satiety. Then went off to Starbucks and got a venti breve latte.
more baked cabbage, plus hamburger sauteed with shredded cabbage.

Today:
bacon and eggs
yummy roast pork and cabbage
more yummy roast pork & hot tea
hot spinach salad and triple caffe breve at Coupa Cafe (and their version *really* has the caffeine; I've been completely unable to sit still for the last two hours.)
