I do have a pointer to a friend in Morgan Hill who has a gelding who would rather jump than eat. She bought him as a yearling for her daughter, who would rather have a cat than a horse (go figure), so she's broken him out, sent him to a pro trainer for a few months of polishing (he was in the ribbons over fences in the only show he went to) and has since been standing around doing Not Very Much.
There's another gelding down there too, more trail-oriented I think. I'll email you Anita's contact info privately.
